So I thought I should explain the photo on my mother’s service program.
When my mother left Hawaii, with 3 kids and a kestrel, we moved into our grandparents place which was the Spotted Cow in Larkfield, Kent. She was devastated about her failing marriage and about something that had happened with her PHD. The result was that she stayed in her room all the time, lost and unsure of what to do and where to go, as the future seemed bleak, and her only company was KIKI the kestrel. I believe that bird was the one who guided her back onto her path and then, of course, Konrad Lorenz contacted her and the rest is history. So, the photo is of my mother and Kiki and I am sure Kiki is guiding her now!
